I had been on the NHS waiting list for an ASD assesment for months before finding out it was an average two year wait. I couldn’t wait that long and needed to know what was going on with me.

She did an initial screening phonecall with me free of charge to determine if it was worth proceeding with a full assessment so I had nothing to lose. We had our child’s autism assessment led by Dr. Yvonne Smith and her team, and the whole process exceeded my expectations. The timescales were quick, which was important to us as we hoped to complete the assessment before the end of the school year due to some issues at school. Dr. Yvonne used a combination of face-to-face sessions and MS Teams meetings, which worked really well given our geographical location, daily family life and work schedules .
